was one of the organizers in the struggle for independent art in the USSR, for the right of each individual to be creative

was one of the initiators of the legendary exhibition of the unofficial art in Leningrad, in the Palace of culture Gaza and "Newsky"-

suffered and survived a politically motivated KGB attack with a toxic substance

was deprived of Soviet citizenship

emigrates to Germany

received political asylum in France


1984

founded the artists association "Eidos"

is awarded the Gold medal from the "Academie des Sciences Humanitaires" Belgium


1987- 1988

together with 14 other contemporary French artists he exposed in Paris, in the Palace of the Congres

moves permanently from France to Germany
